The Bellevue High School PTSA is kicking off our Fall Fundraising campaign, and we need YOUR support! BHS is one of the top high schools in WA state, and your donations help keep it there! 

With your support, we can continue to fund essential programs like:

  • Extended Tutorials
  • Mental Health and Resilience counseling
  • Staff Appreciation events
  • Parent Education Programs – including I-Connect
  • College Preparation – SAT/ACT prep classes, practice SAT/ACT tests, and ensuring that our teachers have the time and resources to write meaningful and impactful recommendations for our Senior students! 
  • Grants for academic, athletic, and school clubs 
  • Math and Reading Enrichment Programs across the school
  • “Class of” committees
  • Wolverine Guards program – a BHS PTSA sponsored award that recognizes students who perform 100+ hours of community service in a 12-month period
  • Reflections – a national PTA arts competition
  • DUI Assembly in the spring for all students
  • PTSA Angel Fund – Support for our BHS families and students experiencing economic difficulties that helps make sure our students have the resources they need to focus on their education.

Every donation, any amount, counts towards creating a brighter future for our students. We are aiming for participation from 100% of the families in our community to raise $75,000! All donations – large and small – will help us to reach our goal!

All donors will be recognized on the PTSA Honor Roll:

  • Silver Honor Roll: Gifts up to $299. 
  • Gold Honor Roll: Gifts of $300-$999.
  • Wolverines Honor Roll: Gifts of $1,000 or more.

Your BHS Donations Explained

Have you ever wondered why, when public high schools in Washington State rank as some of the lowest nationally, why Bellevue High School and other high schools in the Bellevue School District rank some of the highest in the nation?

What is the secret behind the success of Bellevue High School?

Is purchasing a home in the area and enrolling my kid in Bellevue High School and other schools in the BSD all that I need to do to provide him/her with an excellent education? Or is it just the beginning?

What is my role as a parent in maintaining the high standard of excellence in this school and thus ensuring that the value of my property remains high?

Is public education really free?

On November 14, 2018, BHS parent Rossana Lin gave a talk addressing the above questions. Her talk really helped BHS parents old and new to understand how to support our student’s school, as well as our community.
