Joining the PTSA
Hello, new and returning Bellevue High School families! BHS PTSA is committed to supporting the health, education, and welfare of all students in the BHS community.
It is important that you join Bellevue High School PTSA at the beginning of each school year!
The BHS PTSA provides the following benefits for members:
– BHS “Bellevue Blast” weekly newsletter
– Monthly Principal Coffee and Multi-Language Principal’s Coffees
– Our online directory of parents and students, Directory Spot
– A vote at the BHS PTSA General Membership meetings that are held throughout the school year
– Benefits and discounts offered by the Washington State PTSA https://www.wastatepta.org/get-involved/member-discounts/
– Advocacy for BHS students at the school district and state levels. The PTSA’s voice in advocating for our students in Bellevue and Washington is strengthened by our membership numbers.
We invite all parents, guardians, students, staff and interested community members to join the Bellevue High PTSA!
Thank you for supporting BHS!
Myth: If I join the PTSA, I will have to attend meetings and volunteer.
Fact(s): Joining the PTSA does not come with any “strings” attached. As a PTSA member, you are entitled to a voice and a vote at our meetings, and although we would love to have every member at every meeting, we know this would be an unrealistic expectation – and the library wouldn’t hold us all anyway!
We are looking for volunteers for the following Committee Chairs for the 2025-2026 school year!
Volunteering is a great way to get involved with the school, learn what is going on, meet other parents, and help the school function smoothly and effectively.
